sorry to be unspecific - will capture details next time it occurs.
Has happened a few times now from different devices.
As a workaround, going Back and retrying seems to get me in though.

Thanks for reporting this. If you are able to get more details next time that would be great. When it happens are you already authenticated at github itself, or are you needing to re-auth there? If that's the case it is likely some piece of data is being dropped on the first go round and on the second one it is being maintained.

I auth using github as well, and haven't experienced this, but I'm usually on the same device.

Unfortunately the oauth stuff that tank is doing is a bit wired together fashion, with bends in the wire to make it all fit.

It let me in without entering credentials but I have probably accessed github recently in that browser.

I have had this happen again at 1250 hrs 1 dec. This time I had the oppty to take a screenshot. Just before the error I had to authenticate via github. My username and pw were cached in browser so I just clicked OK. With the error page displayed and after taking screenshot I clicked on Login icon and I was then let me in as normal. I trust this helps. Let me know if you want me to try something specific. This is using IE11 from WebTop 8.1 but I have seen this behaviour on Ubuntu 15.10 from home.

Was there any message associated with the error?
