Client

Requirements

• Read before you do, so you don't make errors.
• Internet connection (not required for a physical LAN).
• A copy of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
  • DLCs aren't obligatory, unless you want to play something from a DLC.
• The iw5mp.exe and zone\your-language\localized_ui_mp.ff files from Update 1.4.382.
  • If you're not going to download the game in English, read this: How can I play TeknoMW3 in any language? If you're not able to do it, think twice before downloading the game in another language.
• Allow TeknoMW3_Client_Launcher.exe and iw5mp.exe in Windows Firewall (and any other Firewall you've in use).

Note

• TeknoMW3 doesn't support piracy, this means:
  • We can' t give you game files (like Update 1.4.382).
  • We won't help you if you've used a pirate copy (the game is free on Steam. Why do you need to use [Lowlife repackers profiting of other peoples work].ru?)

Installation Process

1. Download and install the Base Game.
   • You may need to manually install the Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable (vcredist_x86.exe) and DirectX (DXSETUP.exe) from the Redist folder.
2. Go to where you have the base game (\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3) and copy the entire folder. Then paste it somewhere else.
   • A simple path, like: C:\Games\CoD MW 3 This is where you'll install everything (step 3 onwards).
3. Copy the iw5mp.exe and zone\your-language\localized_ui_mp.ff files from Update 1.4.382, and paste them in your game folder.
   • I recommend you to make a backup of the original files you're going to edit/replace.
4. Download the TeknoMW3 Launcher and paste it in your game folder.
5. Run TeknoMW3_Client_Launcher.exe, wait until it finish downloading everything, then configure everything as you like.
6. Click Play and enjoy the game!

Colors

You can put your name, clantag, server name, etc. in one of the 12 possible colors.

• ^3 - Yellow
• ^4 - Blue
• ^5 - Sky Blue
• ^6 - Pink
• ^7 - White (default)
• ^8 - Default Map Color
• ^9 - Map Dependent Color
• ^0 - Black
• ^; - Yale Blue
• ^: - Orange
