Detecting material existence in a scene

Hi everyone,

I recently came across the Learning_Materials in Sionna Ray Tracing and I have a couple of questions. Is it possible to detect if a specific material exists within a scene? Additionally, can this feature determine the number of objects that have this material?

How about scene.radio_materials?

You can also iterate over scene.objects and check their object.radio_material property.

I think I was not clear in my question. Sorry about that.

To clarify, my goal is to see if I can simulate a sensor to detect the existence of a certain material within a scene. Additionally, I would like to know if it can determine the number of objects that contain this material.

Is this achievable with the Learning Materials in Sionna Ray Tracing?

What would be the inputs and outputs of this operation?
Would you already have the scene geometry, materials, etc and just want to find out the mapping; or do you have e.g. real-life measurements and you're trying to estimate material parameters?

I already have the scenes geometry and materials exported from blender and they work fine in Sionna. I want to find out the mapping. My goal is to predict the materials in the scene based on the output.
