Hi sorry to bother you, has the application been taken down from the Play Store? And do you know why?

Hey, yes it was taken down, because of the sharing feature. It is not allowed anymore to make use of the android.permission.REQUEST_INSTALL_PACKAGES permission. I'm sorry, but I don't think I will find the time to fix this anytime soon. If you want, remove the permission and its usages from the code and create a PR. I would update the app then without the sharing feature for now.
