To replicate:

  • open console
  • vso shell should be loaded automatically
  • close console
  • reboot or poweroff
  • wait for a couple of minutes until the vso shell shutdown timeout is reached and it's killed

Hint: On the rebooting/poweroff screen, you can press ESC to see what's going on.
