Security around sharable file links

Is there anyway to add security to file links? like sharing with a specific person(email(s)), or requiring the recipient(s) of the link to login and authenticate with onedrive?

I beleive that the Microsoft Graph APi supports this, however this has not been investigated or explored.

I wonder if there is something that can be implemented without too much effort?

It would require quite a bit of code change, API access change + testing and validation.

If this is something that is being sought - please raise a feature request to enhance that functionality.

Implementation / development depends on:

• fixing bugs that take priority over everything
• time

If this is something that is needed right now , sponsorship goes a long way

I see that there is a way to add a password to a sharable link using the graph api createLink. this would satisfy my immediate need

If this can work I can see it being passed along as a command line argument. I will take a crack at it and if I have good success I will do a pull request. I will share my results.

I have never worked with D, so this should be fun, I will also look into sponsoring other things.

If I cant get it working today I will work on it next week.
