Can Hydrolink Home Ecowater Softeners be added?

I tried to add my ERR3700 system and keep getting invalid credentials. The system is connected to Hydrolink and I have verified that the credentials are valid.

Upon looking into this further it looks like the Hydrolink account is not the same as the Ecowater one that the addon is asking for currently. I went and made a new account on wifi.ecowater.com and now the addon was able to accept the credentials but I am not able to add my system with this method.

How did you re-register the device to Ecowater from hydrolink?

They didn't since the new systems don't work with wifi.ecowater.com.

I just got an ERR3700R20 and it would not connect via the old Ecowater Wifi Manager App/wifi.ecowater.com, only with the newer Hydrolink Home app. Hoping this can be updated to support the newer system.

Ecowater installer told me they are sunsetting the old AP entirely later this year

Do I even bother installing this integration? Looks like Hydrolink was launched in November 2024 (https://ecowater.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/26268806461463-Introducing-Hydrolink-Home) and my new ERR3700 uses that. I vividly remember downloading the wrong app in excitement during the install and creating an account there, before tech told me to download the app using QR code - totally different apps, totally different accounts.

Any leads to having HA support for Hydrolink?

I ended up uninstalling the integration until it supports the new Hydrolink accounts. Haven’t found another way to get my system into HA at this point.
