Is there a "sort field"..?

Hello, I've had a look and search about but I'm new to Koillection and database stuff as a whole really, having used something previously there was an option for "Title:" and another for "Sort Title:" in which the sort title was not displayed on the item page but in the collection view was taken into account regarding item order. Does Koillection have that kind of option..?

With my use it's mainly regarding games/films etc they are numbered but the 2, 3 etc at the end displays above the un-number items and I may have just missed or over looked an option somewhere..?

Hello, right now there is no option like that, but I understand how it could be useful. Though in your case it should be working, would you mind sharing a screenshot ?

Sorry for the delay, as a quick example currently items are listed correctly alphabetically by their names as in the screenshot:

I've had to name "Remnant: From the Ashes" as "Remnant 1: From the Ashes" so it is displayed before the sequel, similar to "The Messenger" being renamed as "Messenger, The".

But it would be a nice option to have a "hidden" field as "Sort Name" as an option to allow items to be named correctly and also listed in release date and/or timeline order.

As an example, Plex has a "Sort title" allowing the films to be listed in a different order than title/release date:

I doubt I can be of any help regarding this but was just hoping this was an option. :)
