In the process of adding a journal club section to the wiki. We probably don't want all the journal club pages to be interspersed with regular pages, which got me thinking: how do we want to organize all of this stuff?! Trial and error might be the way forward, but I dunno. Once we figure that out, we can do a little chiseling on the page layout.

Organization e.g.s,

  • General page/post structure
  • Organizing lab meeting assignments/journal club notes

Is there a branch where we can see what you’ve thrown together so far?

Threw up a quick mockup for journal club entries. Just added a journal_club collection and links to entries on the landing page.

For the journal club pages specifically, my initial thought was to have a page for every semester (where we toss up discussion notes/presentation links), but I'm not locked-in to that. We'll also want somewhere to house a list of paper suggestions and weekly assignments.

Looks good to me! I like having it by semester so it will look less haunted / cursed when the lab eventually moves onto the next thing.

Cool cool. I'll continue mocking it up with some bells and whistles.
