Describe the bug

Closing every open browser session with Firefox, after logging in and then reopening firefox, going to website has the user logged out
Chrome and Chromium based browsers such as Edge seems to work as expected, having the user logged in between browser sessions.

Tested with MetaMask in both instances.

To reproduce

  1. Open Firefox
  2. Log in to your wallet, through Metamask
  3. Close every single instance of Firefox
  4. Open firefox, go to webpage again
  5. See you aren't logged in.

Expected behavior

I expect to be logged in, between browser sessions as localstorage should be set no?

Environment details

Firefox (Error)

  • 126.0.1 (64-bit), Fresh installed MetaMask.

Chrome (OK)
Edge (OK)

Additional context

Seems only to have appeared after 1.8.0 update.
