upstream: VS Code feature requests

Some feature requests cover features that first need to be implemented in VS Code. This issue tracks these in one place for convenience.

• In-line parameter hints: Parameter Hints shown inline all the time (like IntelliJ) microsoft/vscode#16221
• Improve symlink support: Support symbolic link folders in areas like debug, extensions microsoft/vscode#34627
• Support per-folder settings in monorepo: Monolithic structure, multiple project settings microsoft/vscode#32693
• Allow custom workspace symbol search (e.g. fzf-style query): Allow extensions to fully control workspace symbol search (matching and highlights) microsoft/vscode#98125

What steps would be necessary to implement inline hints support for go? I really like the hints, currently using it on typescript projectes. This is is such a nice feature and fantasic way to enhance the developer experience. Would also like to work on it, if someone could give some guidance!
