Current situation

When a Windows host has The Remote Desktop Session Host configured to allow more than 2 simultaneous logins allowed, we still provide the Teleport user with the attached popup

Image

What would you like Teleport to do?

A few ideas:

  • Detect RDSH and improve the user message
  • Detect the current session limit/status and don't display the message at all

What problem does this solve?

Even though the messaging on our current login popup is fairly mild, users have been interpreting it as an error and using up company resources to seek assistance. In essence, this helps remove toil.

If a workaround exists, please include it.
