Note: shortly after this release, it was brought to my attention by @MelanieLowe that we had overlooked including the long-discussed and planned for update to reporting templates to present 'above the median' instead of 'below the median'. This release includes corrected translations, and some very minor updates to code to support their inclusion to use the alternate statistic (that was already calculated). So, while 68.7+31.1=99.8 this simply implies that 0.2% of the population approximately live in areas matching the 25-city median reference statistic (i.e. not < or > this). In the Las Palmas example, the below and above statistics actually sum to 100, which would be expected in most cities (its quite a coincidence to live in an area an exact match of the reference statistic). Also, I incremented the software version number to match the release v4.8.1 --- I overlooked doing this in the previous release. |

This is an important update with improvements for reporting of policy indicators, including:
ghsci.generate_policy_report(xlsx, options)
is now provided to allow generation of policy indicator reports without need to configure and analyse a study region (Standalone function to generate a policy report without configuring a study region #462)It is recommended that users who have generated policy reports using the updated templates (since October 2023) consider re-preparing their reports using the updated formatting. All users may consider regenerating reports to use customised summaries for the various policy and spatial indicator templates.
