I tried whatever you did in duckduckgo , it shows correct url when you are not switched to your location in the top bar .So I don't think fzf team can do anything for these kind of situations because its completely irrelevant. |

Someone emailed me about this page a few days ago. It has nothing to do with me and it does look suspicious. The fact they provide binaries in the releases page is particularly concerning. Who knows if they will distribute malicious binaries under the name of fzf in the future? I can also confirm that it's the top result for "fzf github" on duckduckgo. Is there anything I can do about it? |

DDG shows fuzzy-finder/fzf repo as top result.
(It does show side box suggestion with correct repo and https://junegunn.github.io/fzf page placed in 3rd)
But, that top result repo has only a single README.md from original repo and no mention about source. (But, there's release 0.57.0)
I don't have clue, but seems doesn't related with original repo & author.
Repo seems quite young, cause initial commit was Nov 26, 2024.
Username is quite delicious to search engine, tho. Still, no idea why this repo placed on top.
So, what I did was report "Not helpful" from three dot menu (…) beside of that result.

P.S. Seems "fzf", "fzf repo" shows right result.
