Keep Juypterhub running in Background

I have setup jupyterhub on k8s with https://jupyter-scheduler.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ to run background jobs. I can back tomorrow and it seems like the server has stopped and the background jobs did not run.

Will jupyterhub turn off after x minutes of inactivity? And can I change this behaviour?
