Support custom timeout periods

Not all conversations are created equal :) It sometimes makes sense to have shorter or longer timeouts for a conversation - would be great if this was supported.

I might be able to whip a pull-request for this later this week - are pull requests actively reviewed/accepted in this project? (just asking because the last release was over a year ago...)
