Issue Type: Feature Request

Right now there is no way an extension can execute search (Find in files) and get the results back.
Our extension needs to invoke find in files on the current open workspace and get the same results as a user would do, including hits in unsaved editor buffers. Ideally, it should also integrate with proposed Search Provider extensibility
