Feature row with text ontop of the image?

I'm looking for a way with this theme to have something like a feature row but where the title and excerpt is on top of the image instead and centred. How would I go about doing this? Failing that, just a single image with a title and excerpt on top of it would be good.

I've messed around a bit already and made a feature row that has no button and the image can be hyperlinked instead, so this is the next step.
