Sometimes it would be nice to have 3 devices plugged at the same time keyboard mouse and joystick.
If there is support for 12 Mbps devices, then small usb hub can be used for 3 devices plugged in.
Here I can only speculate about the usb protocol, I think usb hub will convert 1.5 Mbps device packets to 12 Mbps so all traffic should be at 12 Mbps.
for each port of the hub, host should send usb reset command and then hid device setup command and I hope hid packets should be coming...
