Noticed on this question, which had a "choose one from a list" gap with large images in each choice: https://numbas.mathcentre.ac.uk/question/169216/inter-atomic-potential-energy/

It looks like when it pins to the right, it overflows the allowed width, which then changes where it would put itself on the next update.
