the tag cloud does not show all the words tagged

I am interested in using this library but please help me understand the configuration needed to display all the span tags inside the div element

Trying to use ajax to build the span tags dynamically, but seems to call the function "canvas id" to populate before the span tags, no matter where i insert the call. I have included a snipplet from Crome's element console.. to show what I mean.
