When contributing to this repository, please first discuss the change you wish to make via an issue, email, or any other method before making a change. This way, we can avoid misunderstandings and wasted effort.

A little copying is better than a little dependency.
While contributing code to this repo, make sure that there is no dependency
on https://github.com/vmware-tanzu/secrets-manager
. If needed, explicitly copy
entities over. The reason for this is to avoid circular dependencies and also
keep the SDKs self-sustained and isolated as a unit.
Note that, the same is not true in the other direction since certain VSecM components leverage the SDKs to implement their functionalities.
Before merging your changes, make sure all tests pass.
Turn test the SDK locally, run go test ./...
on the project root.
