User story

The ability to configure Vizarr via a simple URL format has been a killer feature. We can provide similar functionality using zero-config mode (focusing only on imaging data, at least initially) and exposing this via a URL query param or hash param on the vitessce.io site (and then documenting this well).

Preferred solution

Given an HTTP URL to any OME-TIFF or OME-NGFF image, user should be able to load the image via a URL like

https://vitessce.io/#?source=https://minio-dev.openmicroscopy.org/idr/v0.3/idr0062-blin-nuclearsegmentation/6001240.zarr
