Customize downloaded WACZ filename

WACZ filenames are long and contain UUIDs that are opaque to an end user. Ideally we'd have a way to specify shorter, simpler filenames when downloading.

If you want to make this the back end ticket for it and that one can be the major feature ticket that's fine by me :)

I think #412 was more about the WARC filenames inside the WACZ, but I guess that is more general, so can expand

Yes #412 was about WARC-names. We ingest only WARC-file and the odd old ARC-files sometimes,
Any news on this? It´s a pretty important feature for us here at Netarkivet and probably for many other users as well.

@Klindten This is not currently prioritized or scheduled though we do recognize its importance and it is something we want to implement. Future updates will be in #412 which should notify you when we start working on it :)
