Well OtakuHQ is the website made specifically for that. Made by Otakus for other Weebs to enjoy and congregate.
OtakuHQ allows you to search for whatever anime of your choosing using the JikanAPI and displays it for you. There is also a section detailing the most popular anime and the current trending anime that is airing on TV. If you create an account and login then you can add anime's to your watch list and once you're done you can delete them from your anime list.

- Make a forum side of the application where users can post anything anime related like posts about favorite episodes and user drawn artwork
- Give links for every anime to redirect users to an actual website where they can watch the anime they're looking at, sites like Crunchyroll, Netflix, Hulu, Funimation
- Include a page for a single show and give the users the ability to comment on the show and rate it
