You probably realized, like me, that we're living our days in a hurry. Which is funny, because life is meant to be slow, since you'll die in the end. That's why I created SlowThingsDown, inspired by a professor who asked his students to go to a nearby museum and stare at a painting of their choice for three hours.
Why? That's an interesting question. Maybe because we don't really measure how bad our focus has become. But, if you, like me, don't have access to a museum or just don't like going outside and staying there looking at a painting for three hours (while people think you're crazy), you can be "crazy" in your own house! That's why this project exists.
The SlowThingsDown project includes this site, where you can sit in your chair, select any painting you want, set a timer, and start measuring how good your focus is. Isn't that so fun?

Foi por isso que criei o SlowThingsDown, inspirado por um professor que pediu aos seus alunos que fossem a um museu próximo e olhassem para uma pintura de sua escolha por três horas.
Por quê? Essa é uma pergunta interessante. Talvez porque a gente não meça realmente o quanto o nosso foco piorou. Mas, se você, como eu, não tem acesso a um museu ou simplesmente não gosta de sair de casa e ficar olhando para uma pintura por três horas (enquanto as pessoas pensam que você é louco), você pode ser "louco" na sua própria casa! É por isso que este projeto existe.
O projeto SlowThingsDown inclui este site, onde você pode sentar na sua cadeira, selecionar qualquer pintura que quiser, definir um timer e começar a medir o quão bom é o seu foco. Não é divertido?
