Alchemy recipes are randomized at the start of every run!

Potions are assigned to a category:

  • Base: Juice, Booze, Acid
  • Primary: (All Others)
  • Secondary: Firestorm, Icestorm, Thunderstorm, Extra Healing

Three recipes are generated to help cycle between bases:

  • 1x Base+Primary=NextBase

Each Primary potion can be made with three recipes:

  • 1x Base+Primary=Primary
  • 2x Primary+Primary=Primary

Each secondary potion can be made with one recipe:

  • 1x Acid+Primary=Secondary

Failed alchemy recipes become water instead of potions of sickness.
Acid still explodes on a failure.
Polymorph still randomizes your potion results, and that loot table has not been adjusted.
Water still attempts to duplicate potions.
