Firefox-blur

A simple configuration for a fully blurred Firefox window and homepage (only tested on Windows 11).

Dependencies

The configuration works with MicaForEveryone and DWMBlurGlass.

Works on the Nightly and Stable build of Firefox.

Installation

  1. Make sure that the Firefox theme is set to System theme - auto.
  2. Enter about:config in the search bar and set the following to true:
  • widget.windows.mica
  • toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets
  • browser.tabs.allow_transparent_browser
  1. Download the userChrome.css and userContent.css files in the repository.
  2. Enter about:support in the search bar. Under Profile Folder, click the button to Open Folder.
  3. Go to the chrome folder OR create a chrome folder if there's none. Then put the userChrome.css and userContent.css files in the chrome folder.
