This is a minor progress update as part of Devtober 2021.
v.1.0.1 Changelog
- Fat Dino is now red, has a mouth and wears a suit.
- Fat Dino can now jump and grab light items, and to some extent throw them, but not perfectly (see #24).
- Fat Dino's hand no longer twists out of control and maintains its rotation in all orientations.
- A slight acceleration is added to make start/stop movement smoother.
- Diagonal movement now moves at the same speed as orthogonal movement.
- Player can no longer fly off steep slopes like a car.
- Gravity increased to feel less floaty.
- Objects can no longer be thrown out of bounds.
- The music volume slider will now persist and game settings are saved on disk.
- Fullscreen can now be toggled using an in-game physical lever, and will respond even if fullscreen is activated via hotkey.
- The game can now be played with a controller.
- The game now has its own icon and is no longer using the default Godot icon.
