Breaking changes

Ruby 3.0 will be removed and 3.3 will be set as default on February 17, 2025 from macOS 13 and 14 images.

Target date

Image deployment is starting on February 17, 2025 and will take 3-4 days.

The motivation for the changes

Ruby@3.0 has been deprecated! It will be disabled on 2025-04-23.

Possible impact

If your builds/ workflows depends on Ruby 3.0 they might become broken.

Hi @airowe, Currently we are working on Image generation and we have moved the ruby changes to the next week, it will be available after 17 Feb 2025.

Heads up!

The new macOS 13 and 13 arm 64 images on board has been deployed 🎉- the latest changes are here for macOS 13 and 13 arm 64 here.

Deployment is in progress for macOS 14 and 14 arm 64, l'll notify you once it's complete.
