CodeHaks TotalLength is an AutoCAD add-on designed to streamline your workflow by calculating the total length of selected objects such as lines, polylines, and arcs. This tool is compatible with AutoCAD 2024 and AutoCAD 2025, providing an intuitive interface to manage selections and quickly gather essential object data.

Installation

  1. Download the latest release from the Releases section.
  2. Extract the contents of the ZIP file.
  3. Load the .dll file into AutoCAD using the NETLOAD command.

Usage

  1. Open AutoCAD 2024 or 2025.
  2. Run the NETLOAD command and select the CodeHaks.TotalLength.dll.
  3. Launch the add-on via the ribbon or the command it registers.
  4. Use the Object Types panel to specify which objects to select.
  5. Click Select Objects to begin selection.
  6. View the total length and object count in the Total Length panel.

Commands

The following command is available in CodeHaks TotalLength:

  • ZLen: Launches the main window of the add-on.

How to Use

  1. In AutoCAD, type ZLen in the command prompt.
  2. Press Enter to open the CodeHaks TotalLength main window.
  3. Use the tool to select objects and view the total length and object count.

Requirements

  • AutoCAD Versions: AutoCAD 2024 or AutoCAD 2025.
  • .NET Framework: 4.8 or later.
