CodeHaks TotalLength is an AutoCAD add-on designed to streamline your workflow by calculating the total length of selected objects such as lines, polylines, and arcs. This tool is compatible with AutoCAD 2024 and AutoCAD 2025, providing an intuitive interface to manage selections and quickly gather essential object data.
- Object Selection: Easily select specific object types (lines, polylines, arcs).
- Length Calculation: Displays the total length of selected objects instantly.
- Object Count: Provides a count of selected objects for better analysis.
- User-Friendly Interface: A simple, intuitive UI to keep your workflow efficient and productive.
- Download the latest release from the Releases section.
- Extract the contents of the ZIP file.
- Load the
.dllfile into AutoCAD using theNETLOADcommand.
- Open AutoCAD 2024 or 2025.
- Run the
NETLOADcommand and select the CodeHaks.TotalLength.dll. - Launch the add-on via the ribbon or the command it registers.
- Use the Object Types panel to specify which objects to select.
- Click Select Objects to begin selection.
- View the total length and object count in the Total Length panel.
The following command is available in CodeHaks TotalLength:
- ZLen: Launches the main window of the add-on.
- In AutoCAD, type
ZLenin the command prompt. - Press
Enterto open the CodeHaks TotalLength main window. - Use the tool to select objects and view the total length and object count.
- AutoCAD Versions: AutoCAD 2024 or AutoCAD 2025.
- .NET Framework: 4.8 or later.
