Making gerber2graphtec more accessible to Windows users by creating an installer that bundles all of the needed dependencies to run and includes several improvements on both the UI and command line tool

Known issues:

  • In Windows, the printer drivers are not set up automatically by the installer. A documented workaround will be published in the hopes of fixing it in a full release.
  • The installer will fail to detect if you already have a dependency present in your system.
  • The uninstaller will not remove the installed dependencies from the system.
  • Maximizing the UI window does not stretch the inner components as well. Thus there is unused space.
  • Command line gerber2graphtec is added to the path, but pstoedit does not seem to be added to the path. The user may need to do so manually (for now).

Please submit bugs so that they can be fixed!
