This has already been fixed, please confirm in latest version, the referenced issue has been closed Just commenting out code is not a valid solution IMO, instead the code should be fixed |

Fixes #85772, the add_caret_at_carets contained merging for multicaret extensions which caused issues with the viewport and scrolling when using shortcuts such as Ctrl + Shift + Up, removing does not seem to affect caret merging otherwise.
