Simple and light image processing library
easimage is a simple and light image processing library aimed to tutorial environments and/or small computing devices.
easimage was developed in C and organized into 4 main packets:
- camera.c: functions related to camara handling (open, close and image capture).
- image.c: functions to handle image structures.
- viewer.c: window creation and image display.
- util.c: other funcionalities that could not be fit elsewhere.
SDL can be installed on Debian derivatives using:
apt install libsdl1.2-dev
To install SDL on Fedora and derivatives, use:
dnf install DSL-devel

make
sudo make install

Some examples are included in the examples/ folder:
- easimgview: Basic image viewer using the easimage library. Supports BMP and PPM file formats.
- camview: Basic camera viewer using the easimage library.
- sdlimgview: Basic SDL image viewer. Does not use the easimage library. Only supports BMP file format.
- blur: Gaussian kernel construction and convolution implementation example.
