Per Issue #106, this PR removes markdown files which have been translated to ipython notebook.
See also PR #164 which changes links that will break when these files are removed.
Having two copies burdens instructors and students, since different students can end up with different version.s The ipython notebook versions have been more recently maintained.
This PR only removes markdown duplicates.
