The goal of this PR is to move towards benchmarking realistic transactions.

Methodology
We piggy-back off the e2e transaction flows during benchmarking. During benchmarking, we now use the env var CAPTURE_IVC_INPUTS to make a few private flows - e2e_amm, e2e_nft and the blacklist token - output the client ivc proof inputs to a folder. From there we put them in a cache for later barretenberg development to use. To achieve this goal, I piggy-backed the simulate --profile workflow, refactoring it to a new profileTx/profile entrypoint that can both return the gates (default) and the client ivc inputs.

As well, to test the profile endpoint I adapted the cli-wallet flows to be ran in e2e testing.

Followup

The apps team will continue to refine the flows, using the tools here, to produce the most realistic possible proof inputs.
Getting --write-vk in for ClientIVC, which this was made to unblock.

Changelog:

  • make bb benchmarks not publish every commit, only on hash changes
  • fix files writing out of e2e tests, needed by benches
  • rename pxe's KernelProver to be PrivateKernelExecutionProver. This name hopes to evoke that we actually do witness generation on the kernels to match a private app call.
  • cli-wallet test flows have been added to CI. I have refactored these to be callable in parallel, and to fit the bash idioms now in our repo.
  • add a new endpoint 'profile'. This replaces the old simulate --profile mode. This has 3 modes, 'gates', 'full', 'execution-steps'. Full returns the function ivc inputs and gates profiling (what the old --profile mode returned). Otherwise, you may want to lower the time taken and only do 'execution-steps', or lower the serialized payload and only do 'gates'.
    This change has been wired through contract function interaction objects and the command-line.
  • add plumbing and CI benchmarks in barretenberg/cpp folder to use these
